Lord Buddha took incarnation on earth and served humans with new ways of life and in true meanings he is considered to be the founder of Baudh dharm, according to baudh dharma every thing in the world is changable and perishable too after a certain amount of time. Lord gurunanak dev is the founder of sikh religion, sacrifices done by heroes and gurus of sikh religion shows their genuinety and strong foot holds of sikh religion, such concerning things are following the other religions of India. One thing that is applied on all religions and their mythologies is that they all believe in super natural powers, supreme spirits which is conducting the whole world.
As India is a multi-religious and multi-cultural country so there are lots of festivals and celebrations.Two national Festivals “Independence day and Republic day” are celebrated by the entire nation. Beside this different festivals are celebrated by different religious groups. In Hindu religion Holi, Deepawali, Dusshera, Durga pooja, Pongal and Onam, Makarsankranti, Raksha bandhan are celebrated with great zeal and joy. Muslims celebrate Idul zuha and Idulfitr, ramjan and Moharram with great joy. Christians celebrate Xmas day and hallowen with great pomp and show. Sikhs enjoy lohri and guru parv the most. Buddh Purnima is celebrated by Buddhists.

Ramayan and mahabharat are the most considered and pious epics of India. people specially in India are attached to these epics emotionally. All these epics conveys the message that evil has end at last and truth finally wins. Accept these shivmahapuran, vishnupuran, varahpuran, vaman puran are some other epics famous in India. History of sculpture starts from Indus valley civilization when, clay pots, coins having symbols, stones having some symbols sacred on it, were found. After that in time period of ashoka sculpturing was done on stones and rocks and specially in the ruling time of gupta and maurya this art touched the altitudes of sky.
